Why do they not have ear defenders in my size

A cousin having a feed and a dip last year in quite a nice pool, would have stayed longer but slipped off the rail.... should have taken more water!

And then I can have some tricky moments.

These nets seem to get larger and heavier each time

While the boats take the nets out and drop them, they do fish closer to land. You can see some of  them splashing to encourage the fish to get in and stay in the net.
